Sangmin Song is an incoming content producer at NBC10 Boston and a recent journalism graduate from Boston University, with reporting experience across campus, local, regional and international newsrooms.

His stories have appeared in The Boston Globe, NBC10 Boston, Cambridge Day, BU Today, Gotta Know Medford and more.

At Boston University, Song worked as a General Assignment Writing Intern at BU Today and contributed to The Brink and Bostonia, covering campus news, research and university stories. Upon graduation, he received the COM Blue Chip Award and the Jerome A. Nachman Writing Award.

Most recently, Song reported for Cambridge Day as a business and technology reporter, covering Cambridge’s business and tech landscape through stories on local innovation, startups and city services.

From 2023 to 2024, Song completed his military service in the Republic of Korea Army as an infantry fighting vehicle driver and squad leader. He wrote an opinion piece for the Korean Forces Network and received the Honorary Soldier Award upon discharge.

Song graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism in May 2026.
